San Jose Municipal Rose Garden
This Daybreaker Rose is different from the softened versions I previously posted. I like the softened better. Daybreaker roses will brighten any garden with beautiful blooms and vibrant deep-green foliage. Beautiful yellow blooms will transform into bright shades of pink, orange and apricot. This floribunda also has a pleasant, if not strong, tea fragrance. Released in 2004. The hybridizer was Fryer. For medium plants, expect up to 25 petals, but on full plants, the petal count can approach 40. Blooms are in small clusters on this pastel beauty that was introduced by Weeks Roses.
